Let’s talk about it
“Let’s talk about it” is a 15 minutes magazine programme about AIDS and other social issues. This programme is aimed at encouraging positive lifestyle to young people who are affected and infected by HIV/AIDS.
Thu, 14 August 2008, 0:00

In this week’s programme, Joe Manciya and TD Dyala, are joined by Sinazo Madikizela (19), a young person from Ivory Park, South Africa to talk about introducing kids to home chores. They explain the challenges of teaching the kids about small jobs that they have to do at home. Young people are easily bored and as result when you are introducing them you need to make it very interesting. What works the most is to play games while you know at the back of your mind that you are teaching them valuable lessons that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. They also advise that educating kids on home chores should not be limited to physical work such as washing, polishing shoes, etc but should include the games that stimulate thinking and resting.
"EDUCATING KIDS MUST BE PART OF YOUR DAILY ROUTINE"
